Louis van Gaal annoyed at Marcos Rojo for failing to reveal hamstring injury

Marcos Rojo and Louis van Gaal have had another falling out. The two fell out during the early parts of the season and just made up recently. However, another has occurred.

The Argentina international has managed to get on the Dutchman's bad side again after he failed to reveal he he had an hamstring injury.

The player was withdrawn against Southampton on Sunday but has infuriated Louis van Gaal by failing to reveal he had an hamstring injury.

It has now left the manager short of options at the back with the centre back the third defender on the injury table.

'Marcos Rojo is not ready to play. It's not so nice that we have three defenders injured (Rojo, Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair).'

'I thought we were right on time for Rojo because we changed him in the game and he didn't warn us he was injured - but he has a hamstring injury.'

The early season fallout was as a result of the Argentine failing to renew his passport and being unable to join his teammates during preseason.

He looked set to leave the club but has however fought his way back into contention before another injury another fallout.

His agent has also dismissed all talks of a departure. Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, he said:

'There is no need to talk about it. The player is happy at United and has no intention of leaving the club.'

Rojo, a £16million signing joined the Premier League giants from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon last summer.
