The award season is here and Lionel Messi is back again. After sweeping all trophies available last season, the Barca legend expectedly won the individual trophy on Thursday.
He was voted UEFA's Best Player in Europe for last season.
He pipped his club teammate Luis Suarez to the award while Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo came third.
The four-time FIFA world player of the year became the first two time winner of the award.
