Paul Pogba still has plenty to learn to be as good as Yaya Toure - Pellegrini

The player who was a target for Manchester City in the past transfer window will face the Citizens on Tuesday in their UEFA champions league match at the Etihad stadium.

The Frenchman was subject to several transfer bids but chose to stay with Juventus. His similar playing style to Yaya Toure has seen him compared to the Man City legend.

However Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini has moved to calm the comparision between the two players.

Pellegrini believes Pogba who is a decade younger than the Ivorian still has more to learn to become as good as his vice captain:

'I don't think it's fair to compare a young player who is just starting with Yaya Toure who has had a brilliant career. He [Pogba] must arrive to do what Yaya has done in his career.

'Pogba is a very young player and when you're young you have the chance to continue improving. That's why it can be important to buy young players because they have more chances to improve.'
