Transfer News: Lamela's father reveals Inter talks

The Argentina international who joined Tottenham from Roma in a £25.7 million deal in 2013 seems to be on his way out of England.

His father and agent revealed the winger is in negotiations with Inter over a potential summer move.

He has failed to adjust to life in England, scoring just five goals in 46 appearances in all competitions last season.

Jose Lamela, his father and agent, has now confirmed that Inter are attempting to sign his son.

"We're talking with Inter, their interest is real," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We're waiting for some news, we are willing to start a negotiation. We would come back in Serie A and we like Inter option."

Tottenham have been rebuilding their squad leading them to selling a number of fringe players this summer.

Inter Milan have also been chasing a winger all summer with the Italian club failing to agree deal for primary target Ivan Perisic with the Croat's club Wolfsburg failing to agree on a fee.
