The French under-21 international has developed into a key player for Arsenal since returning from his loan spell at Charlton Athletic with a string of impressive performances for the Gunners.
He has now been hailed by his Spanish team-mate Santi Cazorla. The Spaniard revealed how he it felt to play alongside the French holding midfielder calling it "amazing".
He called the Frenchman one of the finest midfielders in the Premier League. Coquelin has played in all the club's Premier League games in 2015-16 and has been impressive while he has been on the pitch.
He lavished praise on the 24-year-old while speaking to Arsenal's website:
"He's helped me a lot," he told Arsenal's official website. "He plays well, he defends well and I think he's one of the best players in this position.
"We are lucky because he plays for Arsenal and I enjoy it a lot with him in this position."
