Manchester United have suffered another injury blow on Thursday. German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger suffered an injury to his thigh during a training session which saw him ruled out of Germany's Euro 2016qualifier against Republic of Ireland.
The 31-year-old suffered the injury in Germany's final training session before Thursday's match.
It is however still unclear if the player will be available for the World Champions final Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia on Sunday.
The midfielder has been one of United's better performers since joining the club from Bayern Munich during last summer's transfer window.
He joins the likes of Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Wayne Rooney on the injury list.
