Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony has been ruled out of Saturday's clash with Watford after sharing a picture of himself on crutches.
The ex Swansea star posted an Instagram picture of himself on crutches with his left leg in a medical boot. It is however not clear yet how long he will be out for.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini said this while speaking to reporters at a press conference on Friday:
"Bony has a cut on his leg and will not play tomorrow, but I think he will be back after international break."
It has not been smooth sailing for Bony who moved to the Etihad Stadium from Swansea City in a £28 million deal in January. The Ivorian made a combined 30 Premier League appearances for the two clubs last season, scoring 11 goals.
