Wolfsburg sign Julian Draxler in club-record £30m deal

After selling Kevin de Bruyne to Manchester City for £52m, Wolfsburg have moved swiftly to replace him with the signing of Germany international Julian Draxler.

Draxler has left the club he has been with for 14 years to join Wolfsburg on a five-year deal.

The midfielder joined Schalke's youth team as a boy in 2001 and made his debut as a 17-year-old in 2011, playing 119 Bundesliga games and scoring 18 goals.

Wolfsburg, have used some of the cash they got from selling Kevin De Bruyne for £52m to Manchester City.
