Ronaldo the world's most complete player - Hareide

The coach of Real Madrid tonight Malmo has hailed the Portuguese superstar calling him maybe the most complete player in the world.

He hailed the player for his ability with either foot, as well as the attacker's sprinter-like pace.

With the two sides set to clash on Wednesday Malmo coach Age Hareide outlined the ability of the three time Balon d'or winner.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick one match day 1 in the victory against Shakhtar Donetsk, Hareide has pinpointed stopping the Real no 7 as crucial to his team's chance of upsetting Los Blancos.

Speaking at a press conference held ahead of the game he said:

"Cristiano Ronaldo is very strong and very fast. I have seen a video of him doing a zig-zag race against a Spanish sprinter – the sprinter did not stand a chance."

He also hailed the former Man Utd player's pace:

"He is extremely fast over the first couple of metres. He shoots great with both feet. So maybe he is the most complete player in the world.

"We have to isolate him and get him facing the wrong way."

Hareide's side were beaten 2-0 in their Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain.
