Neymar's new Barcelona contract to get £182m buyout clause

Following reported interest from Manchester United, Barcelona are to sit down with Neymar's advisors before the end of the year to discuss a new five-year contract that will see his buyout clause increase to €250million (£182m)

This is also in line with Lionel Messi's contract. The discussions were planned at the end of last season by president Josep Bartomeu however, he stood down for the club elections which he then won in July.

His current deal runs until 2018 and the club want him to sign a new contract before the end of this season that will tie him down until 2021.

The 23-year-old has been a phenomenal success since arriving from Santos scoring 39 goals last season in a Barca front three that, with Messi and Luis Suarez, scored 122 goals.

After a trophyless first season he club won the Treble last season scoring in the Champions League final.
