Martial's former French amateur club get £270,000 from United move

Anthony Martial's record-breaking move to Manchester United has had a lot of ripple effects.

The move which made him the most expensive teenager in the history of football.

It has catapulted the player onto the world's biggest footballing stage.

It will also benefit his former amateur club. It should help the finances of the tiny sixth-tier club located in the Paris suburbs.

Martial's first club, CO Les Ulis, based in a southwestern Paris suburb about 20 kilometers from the French capital.

Les Ulis horned the 19-year-old's skills from 2001 to 2009.

Martial's transfer to United is expected to bing the club more money than former players Henry and Evra combined.

Due to  FIFA rules, clubs that help to develop youngsters who are later transferred are entitled to compensation for all the training and education provided over the years.

To qualify the years spent by the player at the said club within his 12th and 23rd birthday.

Martial left Les Ulis when he was 14 to join Lyon.

Les Ulis will receive three years of development fees - representing 0.75 percent of his transfer to United - worth an estimated £270,000 pounds.
