Papy Djilobodji who joined the London club on transfer deadline day has been left out of Chelsea's Champions League squad.
He joined the Blues in a £3million deal from Nantes.
He was signed after the club failed in their pursuit of John Stones.
Djilobodji has however been omitted from their list for the UEFA competition.
While making the list, Chelsea were left to pick two out of three players to complete the last two spots.
Djilobodji however lost out to Bertrand Traore and Kenedy.
The news of his omission will be a major blow for the player who would have hoped to feature in Europe's top competition.
