The Barcelona star is unhapphy over his 10-minute cameo against Costa Rica, with the Brazil captain stating his displeasure at the decision.
The Brazil no 10 has now stated his refusal for a bench role again in the future. After being left out of Brazil's starting line-up in Saturday's victory over Costa Rica.
Neymar only just recovered from a bout of mumps and is also reported to have limped off during training with his compatriots on Thursday.
While no reason had given for his benching they might have influenced Dunga's decision.
The player spoke to ESPN Brasil:
"Being benched is not something I'm used to and I'm not willing to get used to it."
"I want to play and I'm always working to be amongst the starting XI."
