Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to help his team in their friendly against France as he watched France's diminutive playmaker Mathieu Valbuena hit a brilliant free-kick to give his side a morale-boosting victory.
With the friendly clash in Lisbon heading for a draw the French playmaker curled a brilliant 20-yard free-kick past Rui Patricio in the 85th minute.
