Following Rafa Nadal's defeat by Fabio Fognini, the official US Open account tweeted that,"This is the first time in 10 years that #Rafa will NOT win a Grand Slam"
However Sharapova saw the tweet as inappopriate and disrespectful to the 14 time grand slam winner.
She posted a more positive spin on the stat about the Spaniard failing to win a Grand Slam title for the first time in a decade.
"A much more appropriate headline would be he HAS won a grand slam EVERY year in past 10 (TEN!!) years.#respect?
