Bayern Munich beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0: Thomas Muller grabs brace

In the pre match build up it was billed as Aturo Vidal s return to his old thumping ground. However, another player who had something to celebrate was Thomas Muller, celebrating his 200th Bundesliga match he netted twice helping Bayern Munich to a 3-0 victory against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

Summer signing Douglas Costa, who has been a revelation since moving to Bavaria went on a dazzling run after running on to a perfect 40-metre pass from Xabi Alonso, blitzing past Roberto Hilbert before cutting the ball into the box for Muller to score after 26 minutes.

The second goal of the night came in the 60th minute with Muller getting his second of the night with a penalty. It was the 76th league goal of the Germany forward's career.

Evergreen Dutchman Arjen Robben got the third goal of the night, converting from the spot in the 71st minute to round up the victory.
