Mayweather Snr excepts son to knockout 'glass jaw' Berto

Ahead of Mayweather jnr Saturday's clash with Andre Berto his father and trainer has tipped his son to knockout his opponent.

Despite having a record of  26 knock-out victories out of his 48 wins, he has only managed one stoppage in the last eight years – against Victor Ortiz which was in controversial fashion.

It happened in 2011 when Mayweather knocked out Ortiz who was trying to apologise for headbutting him during the fourth round.

The pound-for-pound king instead pushed him away and knocked him out with left hook-right hand combination.

However his father believes his son can make it 27 stoppage victories with Mayweather Snr not convinced about Berto's durability who coincidentally was beaten by Ortiz in 2011.

He said: 'If Floyd plans on the knock-out then he might get it because this dude has got a glass jaw,I can tell you that.

I'm not sure if Floyd will touch his jaw very well but I know he'll touch him enough to stagger him.

'If a guy is going to take chances and he's got no defence. He's done.'

The fight which will hold at the MGM in Las Vegas on Saturday is possibly Mayweather jnr's last fight.
